Take a stroll around Mykonos Town with its beautiful neighborhoods and whitewashed alleys and don’t forget to visit Little Venice. The 18th century houses with their foundations in the sea will impress you. A little further down, in the area of Gialos, you will find the historic building of the Mykonos Town Hall and the famous pelicans of the island. In Chora you will also do your shopping, as it has many shops and boutiques with branded clothes and accessories.
In the alleys of Mykonos Chora and Little Venice you will find numerous bars, clubs and cocktail bars – some with incredible sea views. It’s worth going to one of the café-bars in the Matogiannia neighbourhood to enjoy the glamorous promenade along the island’s famous cobbled streets. In the area of Gialos in Chora you will find some of the best clubs, such as the legendary “JackieO’ Town Bar” and “Astra”, as well as the authentic “The Bakoya’s Café” for the first coffee of the day. If you have time at your disposal, it is worth planning a one-day trip from Mykonos to the island of Rineia. Here, you can enjoy sparkling seas and secluded beaches away from the crowds of Mykonos. The Mykonos – Rhineia route takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

The island of Delos is one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece and is located just 6 nautical miles from Mykonos. It is one of the most important religious centres of antiquity and according to myth, it was the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis.
Excavations on the island have revealed temples, a cosmopolitan Greco-Roman city, ancient markets, as well as numerous sculptures and objects of everyday life.
It is worth taking a day trip to admire the island’s spectacular scenery and learn about the history of the Cyclades. A visit to Delos is a unique experience that you will never forget!
From Mykonos you can easily get to Delos, as there are daily ferry services. The trip from Mykonos to Delos takes about 30 minutes and the ticket costs about 20€ return for adults.
